Mosaic Solutions enjoys close collaboration with selected partners that are instrumental in developing new technology for conductive adhesives. IFE, Loughborough University and Conpart are our main R&D partners.
IFE
IFE is an international research institute working within energy and nuclear technology. IFE’s mandate is to undertake research and development, on an ideal basis and for the benefit of society, within the energy and petroleum sector, and to carry out assignments in the field of nuclear technology for the nation. The Institute strives for a more climate friendly energy system based on renewable and CO2-free energy sources. The solar group at IFE works towards this goal, by developing new technology and educating skilled candidates with a competence that is relevant for the solar industry. The research projects are performed in close contact with the Norwegian solar industry. The solar laboratory at IFE contains a dedicated line for producing silicon-based solar cells, and is unique in the Nordic countries. Additionally, a well-equipped characterization laboratory has been built up. The solar research group is an active contributor, both at international conferences and in international scientific journals, and collaborates with a number of Norwegian and international research groups. Several project- and master students as well as PhD candidates are at any given time connected to the solar cell group. For more information please see: www.ife.no/aboutife-en |

Lougborough University
The Intercoonection Research Group (ICG) within the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering of Loughborough University was established in 1989, and draws on the skills of engineers, physicists, materials scientists and chemists to deliver a broad range of research programmes in microelectronics integration. The ICG has demonstrated its impact through various collaborative projects with many of them being carried out in support of the electronics manufacturing and production equipment sectors. The group has acquired significant equipment and testing facilities and has access to the broader University infrastructure including world leading materials characterization and surface analysis facilities and computing tools to support complex simulations.
